Getting to Lille

Lille is conveniently accessible by various modes of transportation. The city is well-connected by train, with two train stations, 400 meters away, the Lille-Europe and Lille-Flandres serving as major hubs for domestic and international rail travel. Additionally, Lille is easily accessible by car via the extensive French motorway network, making it a convenient destination for road travelers. For those arriving by air, Lille-Lesquin Airport offers domestic and international flights, providing easy access to the city and its surroundings.

Villeneuve d'Ascq is a city at 15-20 min of metro from Lille center (downtown). Ilévia is the public transport operator for the Lille Métropole. There are metro every couple of minutes in rush hours. Take the metro Line 1 (Yellow) in the direction of "4 Cantons Stade" and stop at "4 Cantons" (terminus). From there you can walk to Building B of the Inria or take Bus 66 (Direction "Eglise (Forest-sur-Marque)") or 72 (direction "Maison D'accueil (Baisieux)") to the "Halley" stop (second stop) which has a frequency between 15 to 20 minutes.
